Our first stop was Nagano. In 1998 Nagano hosted the Olympic Winter Games. It famous as a hub for skiing in the winter. Apparently, we were the only tourists who decided to visit Nagamo in the summer. When we arrived at the one and only sight in the city (of course a temple!) we saw a tv team filming us from far away. Ok, that's fine. So we went inside the temple and took the side entrance to go to the temple gardens. I tried to ignore the guy running behind us, trying to catch up with us, but all of a sudden the whole filming team was running behind us. Apparently they were happy to see some foreign visitors, so they wanted to interview us. Not both together, but each one of us had to answer some questions about the temple and Nagano. We both made up some crazy statements about the temple and the city (we arrived 30minunutes before) and had to laugh about what we said after. (So peacefully and quiet blabla) Nina and Tom on national television!!
The second town we went to was Musamoto, a town surrounded by the alps and famous for its castle. The castle was totally beautiful. The Japanese old architecture style is still very impressing and I keep on taking pictures of it because I like it so much.
Last stops of the day is Nagoya, from where we will take the Shinkansen again to kyoto! Traveling in japan is so easy! The Shinkansen is so fast and comfortable (and on time)I could get used to that!
