We visited Hiroshima due to the history that lays here, what happened here was shocking. We went to the memorial peace museum, yes a museum, and been there for several hours. Here you really get to know and feel the tragedy of what took place at 6 august 1945 8:15 am.
The things you can see in the museum really expresses how it must have been when the a-bomb hit. Everything melted, even stone walls melted, imagine the people living there...
Normally we're not big fans of visiting museums but we had a feeling that we must and should visit this one. And we were right, it makes you think. Quite unimaginable that there are thousands more of these bombs, and that these are thousands times stronger then the one that hit Hiroshima.
We were very impressed that Hiroshima is today such a strong and beautiful city.
