Our second day in Kyoto, a magnificent old spiritual city. And I (Tom) only takes time to think of sushi and sushi. I did not have enough sushi in Japan due to the high prices of the country. As we are travelling on budget and Japan already costs more than expected which makes us live (suffer) on instant noodles for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I made It my mission to get cheap good sushi today for dinner.
Boy O Boy did we accomplish that mission! We’ve found and amazing place which sells 1 plate of sushi (1 plate contains 1-2 nigiris’s or 4 small rolls) for 130 Yen!!!! This is a little less than 1 euro. All sushi came with a conveyor belt, fun experience, see all that nice and lovely little pieces running next to you, and you only need to pick up the plate and eat it. No need to say more that this was my best day this far! After days of instant noodle shit I could fill up on sushi with tuna, salmon and much much more. We paid like 10 euro each, which would be like 4 full rounds at Sumo in Netherlands.
Do i see it right ? 16 plates of shushi just for you Tom ????
ReplyDeleteAnd what about Nina ? Good to see you both have fun !
Take care and i will continue following you.
