On our second day we picked up the family, immediately Bangkok and thereby Thailand had them in the grip. Amazed by the Chaos, well they thought it was chaos, the people and the food. My family shares the love for food. And now we are four food lovers together here to try it all and everything. That night we met our old housemate Jan and his girlfriend before they went back to the Netherlands. Such a weird feeling that one day this day will come for us too.
Bangkok is famous for its hand tailored suits which are the best. Tom and Jelle had to get their hands on one. Jelle got a very nice navy blue one and Tom even had two made. A grey and blue one. At the shop we met business men from all over the world getting their suit prepped right here on the spot. From Miami, Havana to Europe. Even a thank you letter from Obama hung proudly in the shop. Now we own a high-end awesome suit for when Tom comes back, ever? We had to go back every day for 4 days for fittings with the joy of free beer (Heineken lol) for the men and gin-tonic for the woman.
The next days we spent: shopping and shopping and eating and prepping the rest of the Thailand trip. And of course the fair share of temples and palaces. Hours and days started flying and they will continue to do so. Oh Thailand we are so happy to be back in this beautiful country!
